A board meeting was held at the Inn on the Lakes over dinner the night before. Assistant District Governor Rene Bennett accompanied him and introduced him to the club the next morning. He started his talk by challenging each member of the club to share the Rotary experience with at least 1 other person. He went on to say that the mission of the district is not to dictate each clubs path but to support their efforts on the path that they chose. Randy brought several messages with him including promise of support and dedication for our club's success. Randy told us he was pleased and honored to be our district Governor. Randy closed his talk by informing us about the Ride of Your Life Bicycle ride that will take place in Bartow on November 13th & 14th and the District Conference Cruise that will take place in May '10.
